Vancouver Childcare Information
Little Rae Kids Club is a non-governmental centre which offers a home setting for children three to eight years old.
During the school year, we are open for the winter and spring break, Professional days and throughout the summer for school age children. We are closed on weekends and statutory holidays, as well as Easter Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, & New Years’ Eve.
We have a stable group of caring childcare workers who truly enjoy being with kids, including those with special needs! Our Preschool staff are fully qualified (E.C.E) Early Childhood Educators and our School-Age Staff are made up of dedicated, experienced and responsible adults with a valid First Aid Certification. Each of our staff members has successfully completed a criminal record search through the Province of B.C.

Parent Involvement
At Little Rae Kids Club, our goal is to provide quality programs that is loads of fun for children that are living in Vancouver West End as well as surrounding areas such as Vancouver Downtown and Vancouver Kitsilano areas. To accomplish this; staff, children and their families work closely and honestly together as a team.
We want parents to feel connected and know what’s happening in the programs and how your child is doing. We have a parent’s news board in front of the sign in table and it is updated every day with important parent notices as well as community and childcare news.
We also issue a monthly newsletter to keep parents up to date with what’s new at the centre. Please check out our Parent News Board for daily news and give us your feedback!.

Vancouver Childcare Subsidy
The Childcare Subsidy is a monthly payment that helps British Columbia Families with low incomes meet the cost of childcare. Parents can use the childcare subsidy to help cover the fees for childcare that best suits their needs.
Little Rae Kids Club accepts parents who are in the childcare subsidy program, so please ask our centre manager for the forms to fill out.

Childcare Deposit
Little Rae Kids Club requires a 1/2 month deposit in advance. Your deposit will be returned with one month written notice, given at the beginning of the month; prior to leaving our Vancouver childcare program.

Job Postings
We are now accepting applications for responsible, creative and energetic individuals (With Child Care Certification) to work with School Age children between the ages of 5 to 8 years old with in our Vancouver Childcare Programs.
